Occupation: Part time writer for The Quibbler Luna is an only child and the daughter of Xenophilius and Margaret Lovegood. Her mother loved to experiment but one day it didn’t go so well and she died, Luna was there. She was nine at the time and remembers her mother but finds herself forgetting exactly what her voice sounded like. He daddy says she sounds just like her though so sometimes she likes to talk to herself, just so she can keep remembering her mum. Xeno was the creator and editor of ‘The Quibbler’, the finest source of news in Britain. Luna is a full believer in her father’s research and an advocate for his important work. She was sorted into Ravenclaw, like her mother was, though her fellow classmates didn’t quite know what to make of her. She adopted the nickname of ‘Loony’ sometime in her first year and the name stuck. Luna struck up an odd friendship with Harry, Hermione and Ron in her fifth year. When Lee Jordan graduated she took over as commentator for Quidditch. She also helped with D.A. as well as the Battle at the Ministry, the Battle at the Tower. During her sixth year she snuck in, with Neville and Ginny, to Snape’s office to try to steal the sword of Gryffindor. It didn’t turn out so well. Later on she was captured and imprisoned in the Malfoy’s basement. Dean and Ollivander were there so she wasn’t lonely; she had been worried her daddy was though. Harry, Ron and Hermione came and with the help of Dobby they were freed allowing her to help out in the Battle of Hogwarts. Luna hates the way radishes taste. She bought the earrings because she honestly believes there is something likeable about everything, even radishes. Those earrings have become her favorite pair. Another thing most people don't know is that Luna loves the nickname Loony. Whenever people say it they laugh or giggle and all Luna wants is for people to laugh and be happy. She’s only glad she can help. Recently she has been working for her father's paper, travelling around and going wherever her heart leads her. | |||||||||
